I found this posting via Gizmodo and first thought was: I want it. It is an X-Ray of the new MacBook Pro and it just look amazing. You see a lot of disassemble computers but an X-Ray is extremely cool. The images comes from The After Mac.com and you can go there directly to download the high-res image.

I set it up as my wallpaper and “had” to clean my desktop (Just moved everything to a folder inside my Documents…) and it looks NICE. I don’t have my NEW MacBook Pro yet but I can see its insides constantly in my screen.

You might have seen a new logo on the right site of the site. We have created a new site to promote the latin community in the entertainment industry by showcasing their short films and music videos.
It is a simple and clean site to focus on the art that many people create with very small budgets but a lot of creativity. We are growing everyday and the material online right now is just amaizing.

It has been a slow month. With the holiday up on us, everybody is chilling out. We have been busy getting our equipment ready for the next year and for the new look. A new High Definition look. Just recently we have finished a little video for Tequila Cabrito. The agency is producing a Swimsuit Calendar and we had to film the behind the scene of the photo shoot. We used the Canon XH-A1 and shoot in HDV 1080i 60p. with the small SIMA light. We used the light once or twice but those shots did not make it to the last cut. No audio was needed either.  We downconverted the image in Final Cut Pro Studio 2 and created the Flash file using Adobe Flash Converter, which is a very simple and robust program by Adobe.

During post, we did a fast paced cut and change the colors to black and white. The idea was to created a trailer to capture the curiosity of the viewer and have him or her visit the site.

Just finished a project for Absolut Vodka. It was a party at a night Club in Universal Citywalk here in Los Angeles. a simple project that needed good music and nice shoots of people dancing. Since it was at a night club, I took my little SIMA SL-10XL light and it worked great, but it is a little soft for my taste. I needed to get closer to the subjects in order to see details in the image. I will look for more options in small lights and I will post my comments here. During the weekend I was shooting a behind the scenes for a photo shoot. The photo shoot was for a calendar that I hope to include links soon.  The places was well illuminated so I decided to try out a small LED light. I got the SIMA SL-10XL.   

 

 It is a small light that produces a very soft but balance light. It gave a nice light to the subjects that were relatively close to the camera.  I couldn’t notice it when the subjects were more than 5 feet away. I will try it next weekend again in a more darker place since I am shooting in a night club for an Absolut Vodka event.
